Kevin Patten, General Manager

Kevin Patten oversees the high standards of service executed by professional staff at Performance Art. His automotive trade industry career began in 1973 when he worked at a gas station in Saratoga. High school auto shop classes ignited his passion for cars and he entered the De Anza College Automotive Technology daytime program, ranked first in the country at the time. Upon receiving his Associate in Arts degree, he attended San Jose University where he pursued a degree in business administration with a marketing concentration, simultaneously working at various automotive facilities. In 1992, Patten acted as owner and operator of South Bay Mustang, an automotive repair and restoration shop. He went on to work for Custom Alignment in Mountain View, where he quickly accelerated from technician to shop supervisor. During his nine years at Custom Alignment, Patten, who is A.S.E. certified in Brake and Suspension, focused mostly on high performance and exotic car suspension and brake setups. Patten also raced and won several S.C.C.A. Regional Road Race Championships from 2000 to 2003. For recreation, he continues to set up championship cars for others. He is married with two children.

David Graff, Shop Foreman

With over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, David Graff excels as the shop foreman at Performance Art. Born and raised in San Jose/Santa Clara, he attended De Anza College for suspension and alignment, and is A.S.E. certified in Brake and Suspension. Graff is trained on Hunter TC 3500, TC350 and GSP 9700, and is certified to operate Corghi/Artiglio and Longacre Racers DX Scales. In the last 12 years, he has become a specialist in Porsche suspension and alignment. Graff is exceptionally goal-oriented and strives for excellence, both in the automotive profession and his personal life. He is a 4-time Ironman Triathlete and has competed in the X-Terra Triathlon, which consists of mountain and road bike racing, swimming and running.

Tim Montrouil, Mechanic

Born and raised in Sunnyvale, Tim Montrouil developed his love for automobiles at an early age when he helped his dad replace an engine. His care and interest in cars brought him to Performance Art, where he shines as mechanic. Montrouil graduated from the automotive program at Fremont High School in 2004 and currently attends the De Anza College Automotive Technology day program. He has received certificates for the A6, A8, L1 Alternative, OBD2, 2003/2005/2007 Update, Clean-Air Car Course, and Advanced Clean-Air Car Course. In addition to attending the day program, Montrouil is obtaining his Associate in Arts degree in business from De Anza College, expecting to receive his smog license by the end of this year. In his leisure time, Montrouil builds and modifies his 1988 Ford Mustang, enjoys road racing and attends car meetings every chance he gets.

Leticia Urbani, Office Manager

In the position of office manager, Leticia Urbani is an integral member of the Performance Art team. A Morgan Hill native, she graduated from Live Oak High School in 1996 and obtained an Associate in Arts degree in liberal studies from West Valley College in Saratoga. There she excelled in communication studies and received an Award of Excellence in Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication Studies and Intercultural Communication Studies. Urbani transferred to California State University, Fullerton to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies with a concentration in advertising and a minor in marketing, and remained in Orange County for five years. She has since purchased a home in Morgan Hill, where she currently resides with her husband.
